Want to know how financing can drive a clean energy future? Join us for the 13th Energy Efficiency Finance Forum (EEFF) — the premier conference for industry leaders like you — to explore cutting-edge initiatives and major opportunities to finance projects that save energy, reduce costs, and create jobs.

You will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network with leaders in finance, government, utilities, and energy service companies. In interactive sessions and dynamic plenaries, you will learn about successful projects and innovative models. You will discuss ways to overcome barriers, scale the industry, and deliver deep energy savings.

In a recent series of blog posts, ACEEE looked at financing’s vital role in cutting energy use and greenhouse gas emissions over the next 30 years. We hope you will be part of this continuing conversation.

The workshop will cover financing related to the three major market sectors:  residential, commercial and government facilities, with a discussion of pros, cons and applicability of different finance mechanisms available for each.
The workshop will be co-presented by Matthew Brown, Harcourt Brown & Carey and Michelle Vigen Ralston, Common Spark Consulting. Lunch is included with workshop registration.

Select the EE Financing 101 Workshop option when you register for the conference.

Tackling the Tough Challenges in Financing Multifamily Deep Retrofits
In 2019 New York City committed to placing carbon emissions requirements on its largest buildings, leading property owners and managers to consider deep energy retrofit projects. New York is not alone in considering policies such as these, and compliance with these standards will require that we address several hurdles to financing projects that target deep energy savings. This is especially true for multifamily properties, which already face substantial barriers to improving energy efficiency. Participants in this workshop will learn more about the challenges involved in financing multifamily deep retrofits, and they will collaborate with one another in structured small-group discussions to discuss potential solutions. Lunch is included for workshop participants. If interested in attending, contact Stefen Samarripas for details.
