Sustainable Communities and Vehicle Miles Traveled Reduction Programs

This presenation by Therese Langer, ACEEE's Transportation Program Director, covers two major issues around launching and sustaining local and regional programs that aim to reduce vehicle miles traveled (VMT) and create more sustainable communities: quantification of energy savings and outreach and marketing.  This presentation was hosted by the Department of Energy's Technical Assistance Program and primarily tailored to Energy Efficiency Block Grant (EECBG) and State Energy Program (SEP) grantees.
