Transportation Energy Efficiency Opportunities in the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)

States and municipalities are eligible to apply for funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to address a variety of transportation-related needs, including those related to improving energy efficiency. Money is available for distribution through the Department of Energy's Energy-Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program, the Surface Transportation Program (STP) or the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program. Below is a list of potential projects that qualify for funding under the various programs.
