Shruti Vaidyanathan is an ACEEE alumni as of September 2023.
Shruti Vaidyanathan oversees research on vehicle and transportation system efficiency for ACEEE. With nearly 15 years of experience in the transportation sector, she is committed to creating equitable, low-carbon transportation systems by advocating for policy approaches at the federal, state, and local levels that combine vehicle electrification with passenger and freight miles reduction. Shruti joined ACEEE in 2007. She holds a master of science in public policy and management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of arts in economics and environmental studies from Grinnell College.
