Comments on EPA and NHTSA Proposed Emissions and Fuel Efficiency Standards for Medium and Heavy Duty Vehicles, Phase 2

On August 6, 2015, Dr. Siddiq Khan testified in Chicago on the proposed Phase 2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Fuel Efficiency Standards for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Engines and Vehicles. ACEEE strongly supports the efforts of the DOT and EPA to strengthen the standards over the coming decade and cites several respects in which the agencies’ proposal can and should be improved.
