Dr. Esram is an ACEEE Alumnus as of March 2025.
Dr. Esram oversees ACEEE’s research programs including Buildings, Industry, Transportation, Behavior, and Health and Environment. She leads and manages ACEEE’s research activities. She joined ACEEE in 2020.
Prior to joining ACEEE, she was a chief engineer and team lead at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for over ten years and spearheaded a variety of multi-disciplinary projects advancing building energy efficiency and decarbonization. She is a licensed architect and holds a Ph.D. in architecture from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
