  • Andre de Fontaine , U.S. Department of Energy

    Andre de Fontaine is a Senior Advisor in DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. He is the Office’s energy-water nexus lead and supports aspects of the Department’s Better Buildings Initiative. Previously at DOE, Andre managed the Better Buildings, Better Plants Program, a voluntary energy savings partnership for manufacturers. Prior to joining DOE, Andre was a Markets and Business Strategy Fellow at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. Before that, he was a journalist in California, covering environmental policy in the state’s capital. Andre holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of California, San Diego.
