Senior Project Coordinator (Strategic Energy Management)

TRC is seeking a senior project coordinator to support the delivery of a large commercial energy efficiency program in Oregon and SW Washington. This position is responsible for providing support on the operational aspects of  SEM (Strategic Energy Management) projects for enrolled customers seeking to prioritize and plan for energy-related operational strategies and capital investments in energy efficiency.

Primary job activities include:

  • Enter customer data and process annual savings incentive payments in client's payment processing system
  • Perform quarterly forecasting data entry and coordination with technical staff
  • Review, approve and process incentive payments
  • Perform project processing, QC review of team members' projects, and prepare project documentation according to established procedural, data security, confidentiality and quality control standards
  • Accurately document and maintain customer and site records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Coordinate and track the details of several projects in various stages at one time
  • Coordinate and update program tracking spreadsheets and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate and ensure accuracy of customer enrollment forms and workbooks
  • Coordinate documentation uploads and provide support for the program SharePoint site
  • Coordinate weekly weather data updates and uploads
  • Support ad hoc requests from client and program manager
  • Provide outstanding customer service, utilizing excellent communication skills and positive attitude to work with detailed requests from customers, the client, and internal team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with minimum of three years related experience, or equivalent combined experience and education
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office tools (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to include highly effective communication in person, over email, and by phone
  • Experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or a similar system to effectively track customer and/or project details
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects to meet short turn-around times while effectively adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Self-driven team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or collaboratively
  • Enjoys working as part of a diverse team, collaborates effectively, and maintains professionalism under deadline pressure
  • Capacity to understand technical concepts and apply that to projects to ensure technical requirements are met,
  • Ability to explain program requirements to diverse customers

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in the SEM field, supporting SEM enrollment, tracking, monitoring and reporting of milestones and payments for customers
  • Experience working with utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs
  • Experience processing incentive rebates for energy efficiency projects
  • Experience coordinating and processing commercial prescriptive or custom energy efficiency projects
