Abstract

This is a summary of work in the U.S. and Canada promoting lighting efficiency, including education, demonstration, technical assistance, utility, testing, labeling, building code, and equipment efficiency standard efforts. It also estimates the technical potential for lighting efficiency improvements and the potential savings achieved through aggressive programs. Prepared for the "Right Light, Bright Light" conference in Stockholm.
