Abstract

This report presents the final results of a survey of building services providers and building owners and operators in New York State conducted in January and February 2003. The survey was conducted as part of the Building Commissioning Market Transformation project sponsored by NYSERDA. The survey was designed to gauge respondents understanding of building commissioning, their experience implementing best methods for building demand for commissioning in the New York market. This report provides a detailed discussion of the 2003 survey and its findings and offers a comparison of findings to a similar survey conducted at the outset of the market transformation program in 2000.
