January 2010 - A group of 27 leading trade associations, industrial firms, and NGOs have sent a letter [PDF] to the Senate supporting provisions in upcoming jobs legislation that will create jobs, improve energy efficiency in manufacturing, and help make American industry more competitive. |

ACEEE's Industry Program is associated with the following groups:
► Industrial Program Managers Network
A group of Industrial Energy Efficiency Program managers who share best practices, offer advice to colleagues, and coordinate to learn about effective ways to implement energy efficiency programs in the manufacturing sector. |
► The Alliance for Materials Manufacturing Excellence (AMMEX)
A network of trade associations and industrial firms that seek to enhance the competitiveness of American manufacturing through energy efficiency and other sound investments. |
► Industrial Working Group
A group comprising energy-intensive industrial firms, industrial trade associations, and manufacturers of energy-efficient equipment for the industrial sector. The group works to support existing industrial energy efficiency programs and develops policy and program recommendations for federal- and state-level industrial energy efficiency efforts. |
