Climate Change Mitigation

New York set emissions targets in the 2002 State Energy Plan and Final Environmental Impact Statment. In 2003, the Center for Clean Air Policy released Recommendations to Governor Pataki for Reducing New York State Greenhouse Gas Emissions.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation expects a new statewide energy plan to be released October 2009.
