Summary:

Both the residential and commercial building codes are based on the 2003 IECC and are mandatory for jurisdictions without energy codes. Some southern Nevada jurisdictions have adopted the 2006 Nevada Energy Code, which is based on the 2006 IECC with amendments. Some northern Nevada jurisdictions have adopted the 2006 IECC outright.
