Summary

Aside from programs established in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana has no energy efficiency programs for utility customers. Entergy New Orleans offers a portfolio of energy efficiency programs including residential, small commercial, and industrial programs.

There are no investigations or proposals to introduce programs or establish policies supporting or requiring such programs.

Entergy New Orleans offers a portfolio of energy efficiency programs including residential, small commercial, and industrial programs. The state's investor-owned utilities provide some information (mostly Web-based, such as links to consumer information sites) to customers on ways they can reduce their energy use and costs through energy efficiency and conservation.
