Building Codes

Kansas State Energy Codes

Summary:

Kansas has no statewide residential building code, though realtors and homebuilders are required to fill out an energy-efficiency disclosure form and provide it to potential buyers. And although the commercial building code specifies the 2006 IECC, there is no enforcement mechanism in the statute.
