Appliance and Equipment Standards

A17-0165, Energy Efficiency Standards Act of 2007

Summary: In 2007 the District of Columbia introduced legislation, titled the Energy Efficiency Standards Act of 2007, which created standards for six products. Four of these standards will be preempted by January 1st, 2009 due to federal standards included in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
