All rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to register for housing early to get your preferred room. The housing registrars at Asilomar will try to do their best to put you in the room of your choice. If you have any questions, special needs, night before or after stay, please indicate these concerns on the housing form and a registrar will get back to you. The forms can be faxed back with a credit card payment or mailed in with a check.
Off-Site Fees:
If you have registered for the conference but are not listed on the Asilomar roster for having reservations on‑site then you do have to pay the $10/day off‑site fee. As a California State Park, Asilomar requires us to collect this "usage fee" for any conference attendee not staying on grounds. They require us to provide a list of all off‑ground attendees and then charge ACEEE $10/day for anyone staying off‑grounds. Therefore, ACEEE will need to collect that fee from off-site attendees. Keep in mind, although this is an item on the ACEEE registration form, it is not part of the ACEEE registration fee; this money does not go to ACEEE. If you wish to purchase any meal tickets on‑site, then this fee must be paid in full first (meal tickets can be purchased any time during the conference).
