3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
This
session will describe how energy-efficiency program administrators
from across the United States and Canada are working together
through CEE to identify energy-saving opportunities in the industrial
sector and to develop recommendations for programs, as appropriate.
Developing common definitions of what qualifies for energy-efficiency
programs and then incorporating them into programs across North
America, enables efficiency program administrators to introduce
and support a consistent efficiency messge in key industrial markets,
i.e., "to speak with one voice". The session will provide
a brief introduction to CEE and its five industrial committees/activity
areas (premum-efficiency motors, motor management, municipal water/wastewater,
distribution transformers and industrial program planning). The
session will also provide an opportunity for CEE members attending
the Summer Study to give updates on their local, state and/or
regional programs for industrial customers and to identify new
or emerging opportunities for future consideration.
