Every two years, the Summit on Emerging Technologies in Energy Efficiency brings together a diverse audience of policy makers, program planners and implementers, researchers, technology developers, financiers, manufacturers and end users to discuss the latest innovations in energy-efficient technologies and practices. The 2nd biennial ET Summit was sponsored by the Emerging Technology Coordinating Council (comprised of California's Investor-Owned Utilities) and NYSERDA, and organized by ACEEE.

The Summit highlighted key policy considerations at the state and national level, explored the role of various players in advancing markets for emerging technologies, and investigated channels for financing technology development and commercialization. A number of promising technologies and practices were also introduced.

For information about the next ET Summit, check back at the ACEEE conferences Web site, or send questions to ETSummit@aceee.org.
