Why does Europe lag behind the others in the transformation to motors with efficiency levels well above Eff 1? NEMA PremiumŪ efficiency is possible on 50 Hz designs, be proactive and set a goal to raise performance to this level by 2008 while using the Eff 1 level as the minimum allowable level.
