Session Synopsis - "An Initial Look at Laboratory Test Results of Residential Furnace Air Handler Performance"

This session will report on recent performance testing of residential furnace air handlers. The testing compared the performance of standard, improved and prototype blowers and blower motors. The implications on peak power and energy consumption in California of the improved and prototype models will be discussed.
