Session
Synopsis - "What's Next?
Identifying Steps for Improved International Cooperation on Standards and Labeling"
Shane Holt, Australian Greenhouse Office
Monday, August 23
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The purpose of the session is to share views about the identification of a road map for international cooperation in energy efficiency standards and labeling. The discussion will be the fourth in a series of workshops held in different corners of the world (following Australia, China, and Italy) on "Vision, Strategy, and Actions Needed to Enhance International Cooperation in Energy-Efficiency Standards and Labeling". Participants are invited to contribute to the global dialogue on prospects for increased international coordination and cooperation between governments, agencies, industry and other stakeholders developing and operating appliance labeling and minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) programs.
Come and see whether you agree with what Australia-, Asia- and Europe-based experts are thinking about the future of energy standards and labelling.
