2003 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry

Informal Sessions Description

This discussion provides an outline of the issues, barriers, and opportunities that are apparent in encouraging industry to improve business performance through energy efficiency. The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and the U.S. Department of Energy co-sponsored this study to work with New York industry on a pilot basis. A Steering Committee of New York State industry and policy professionals provided guidance in the formulation of this study. The discussion culminates with an outline of strategy elements for conducting energy efficiency outreach to CEO and corporate level audiences.
