Session Synopsis - "Data Center Energy Efficiency Road Map Advisory Committee " — Private Meeting

Efforts are underway to develop case studies, obtain benchmark data, and develop a research and development plan for improving the energy efficiency of data centers such as server farms and corporate data processing centers. This session will include discussion concerning research and market transformation needs to improve efficiency in data centers. Brainstorming sessions will help to identify key issues and prioritize them for future investigation. Also, barriers to implementing efficiency measures in data center facilities will be discussed along with some possible means to overcome them.
