This position, reporting to the Manager of Compensation & Benefits, will be located in our Portland, Ore. office.

Role Description
• Responsible for a variety of administrative duties spanning entry to early professional-level HR activities in support of one or more HR Centers of Excellence (COE). May provide early-professional technical HR support as assigned.
• Administration and maintenance of assigned programs or projects in support of assigned COE.
• Handles all matters with utmost attention to confidentiality and highest level of professionalism while working comfortably in high paced and dynamic environment.
• Serves as front line inquiry point for employees and managers for assigned COE and provides a highly professional experience for our client employees and client managers by proactively ensuring their inquiry is promptly answered or elevated per defined process.
• Actively navigates our HRIS system for assigned COE. May provide data entry, verification, reports, or workflow continuity and ensures highest level of data integrity. Actively notifies higher level HR leaders of data errors, anomalies, or system problems to ensure rapid resolution and outstanding data integrity.
• May serve a project coordinator for HR projects and programs including task list tracking, meeting minutes, action item distribution, and status reports.
• Other tasks include drafting employee and manager correspondence, updating our Intranet, supporting required COE filings and compliance, COE vendor records, and performing other special projects as determined by the COE leader.
• May assist in coordination of HR Team events, off-sites, meetings, lunches as part of the HR Team.

Role Competencies
• Associates degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment and demonstrated ability and comfort in handling confidential matters.
• 2-3 years demonstrated success in customer facing role.
• Prior experience in HR support is a plus.
• Proficiency in at least three applications of MS Office: MS Word, PPT Outlook, Excel.
• Superior customer relations, service delivery skills, and understanding of “owning the client service relationship.”
• Superior organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail within a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, and consistently maintain a professional demeanor.
• Your ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers will be essential to your success.
• 5% travel may be required.
