Gene Rodrigues is the Director of Customer Energy Efficiency & Solar for Southern California Edison Company. In this capacity, Gene oversees SCE’s portfolio of Energy Efficiency, Low Income Energy Efficiency, Low Income Rate Assistance, California Solar Initiative and Self Generation Incentive programs.

Among other organizations he supports, Gene also serves on the boards of directors of the Consortium for Energy Efficiency and the China-US Energy Efficiency Alliance. In addition, Gene served on the Leadership Group for the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency and currently serves on the Executive Group for NAPEE's successor initiative, the State Energy Efficiency Action Network.  Until recently, Gene also served as a member of the State of California’s Low Income Oversight Board.

Gene has a B.S. in Education from Northern Arizona University and a J.D. degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
