Past the Tipping Point
The ECEEE 2007 Summer Study held in June at La Colle sur Loup, France, proved that energy efficiency now has gone past the tipping point. See the press summary. The ECEEE 2007 proceedings are already online. Abstracts can be browsed by everyone, but full papers and several of the presentations are only available for ECEE members. ACEEE’s “Industry” Summer Study proceedings from 2003 and 2005 are now available on-line. Abstracts can be browsed, you must be an ECEEE member to access the full papers.
U.S. Team Wins “Most Innovative” Poster Award at the ECEEE Summer Study
Just 12 Americans joined over 350 others at the European Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s Summer Study in the south of France in early June. During the poster presentations, attendees voted for 4 awards among the 50 posters. The award for “most innovative” was earned by Katherine Johnson and Ed Thomas of Market Development Group, the only Americans among the winners. The program was the Light Bulb Fund Raiser program implemented for Delta-Montrose Electric Association in Colorado. Access the paper via ECEEE.
