ACEEE CONFERENCES: GREAT MEETINGS ARE COMING UP IN 2007

Make plans now to attend one or more ACEEE conferences during 2007. Three are scheduled (see below) and two more will be announced soon. Watch our Web site for "Save the Date" announcements or full conference information, including online registration.

  • The 2007 Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry will be held July 24-27, 2007 in White Plains, New York at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel. Conference Co-Chairs Lawrence Kavanagh, American Iron and Steel Institute, and Kelly Kissock, University of Dayton (Ohio), have chosen "Improving Industrial Competitiveness: Adapting to Volatile Energy Markets, Globalization, and Environmental Constraints" as their theme and 12 Panel Leaders to lead six Panels. Early Bird Registration will be $695 per person for the full conference and $325 for one day.   • The 11th annual National Symposium on Market Transformation is scheduled for March 19-21, 2007 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. This year's program will focus on "Accelerating the Pace: Deepening and Broadening Efficiency Efforts." Sessions will explore innovative program planning, partnerships, and marketing strategies that can expand the reach of market transformation both geographically and into new product areas. Program, hotel, and registration information (including online registration) is available. Questions can be addressed to mtsymposium@aceee.org.

  • ACEEE's first-ever Energy Efficiency Finance Forum will take place April 12-13, 2007 at The Helmsley Hotel, New York City. The Energy Efficiency Finance Forum will bring together current and potential investors in energy efficiency in order to learn more about this growing sector. At this first-time conference, participants will explore the myriad opportunities for investing in energy efficiency and spend time networking with "who's who" in the industry. Learn more about this meeting, read the preliminary program, and find out how to register.
