Self Generation Incentive Program EM&V RFI: Request for Information – Interested Parties

The Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) provides incentives to customers who install certain types of distributed generation facilities to meet all or a portion of their energy needs. To date, the SGIP has allocated over $500 million to qualifying distributed generation projects. Evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) activities have been completed to monitor system impacts and evaluate the overall program efficiency. On behalf of the SGIP Working Group, PG&E is issuing a request for information (RFI) to develop a list of qualified vendors to bid on conducting future EM&V activities.

The SGIP EM&V RFI will open on or about January 3, 2006 and will appear on the company's web site. Responses are due by 8:00 AM (PDT) on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. All correspondence or contact with PG&E regarding this RFI should be submitted in writing to wxt8@pge.com.

Parties may review the existing body of analytical work at the following website: http://www.sdreo.org/ContentPage.asp?ContentID=279&SectionID=276&SectionTarget=35
