ACEEE TURNS 25 — BREAK OUT THE PARTY STREAMERS AND KAZOOS!

Can you believe it? This year is ACEEE's 25th Anniversary. For a quarter-century we have been promoting energy efficiency for a stronger economy and a cleaner environment. This is a time to reflect on how far we have come since 1980, and to consider the challenges and obstacles ahead. To mark this momentous occasion, ACEEE is holding a gala dinner and benefit on September 27th in our birthplace of Berkeley, California. At this event we will honor Arthur "Art" Rosenfeld, one of ACEEE's founders and the man many would consider the founding father of the energy efficiency movement.

ACEEE has accomplished a great deal in making energy efficiency a key sustainable energy policy, saving consumers and businesses billions of dollars in energy savings, and lightening our impact on the environment by reducing our energy intensity. To build a foundation for the greater challenges ahead, we are launching the ACEEE 25 Campaign. With your support, we can continue to help both policymakers and consumers make the right decisions about energy use. For more information about our ACEEE 25 Campaign and how you can help build a sustainable energy future, please visit the brand-new "Support ACEEE" section of our Web site. You can even buy a seat at the gala dinner in Berkeley online. See you there!
